A Statue For Mary: The Seacole Legacy
A statue celebrating the life of Mary Seacole, the nurse of Jamaican and Scottish descent, best known for her brave and compassionate work with scholars and sailors during the 19th Century Crimean War, was unveiled in London on June 30, 2016. This commemorative book describes the 12-year campaign that made this happen.
