A Forgotten Heritage: Blackamoores in Tudor England

£50, 5-week course
The course will explore the period of Tudor England, the African contribution and influence at the time. Unpicking vital evidence of the period students will be exposed to the breadth of historical evidence and rich legacy concerning the African experience.

 

You will have the opportunity to explore the presence of African people during Tudor England, understand where Blackamoores came from and where they are now and highlight the various roles played and their contribution to English society.
